Branch Inventory Support Specialist - Monroe, LA


Responsibilities

This individual is responsible for ordering wholegoods from manufacturers, confirming accurate billing and scheduling payment to manufacturers for wholegoods inventory purchases, coordinating the procurement and transfer of equipment both internally and with other dealers, and maintaining current and accurate information regarding wholegoods inventory within the dealer management system. The position also involves assisting Inventory Manager as a liaison with manufacturers as it relates to Parts and Service lines of business. These duties include the coordination and oversite of the general Parts Inventories required by Manufacturers and general oversite of safety and warranty campaigns for manufacturers. Finally, the position will involve assisting with the tracking of machines warranties, extended warranty placement and management.


Qualifications

Basic understanding of accounting principles.

Exposure to construction equipment and terminology related to equipment and attachments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong organizational skills.

Detail oriented.

Capacity to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them, and complete them independently.

Ability to build and maintain business relationships with management, staff, and vendors.

Ability to maintain professional demeanor.

College Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
