Scott Equipment offers Precision Farming tips
Convention aims to increase yields, lower costs and raise productivity for farmers
McGehee, AR – Jan 14 – Scott Equipment Company will hold a two session Precision Farming Convention on January 21 and 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the McGehee Men’s Club located at 1 South Airport Road in McGehee.
Case IH Specialists and the Scott Precision Farming Team will teach farmers about the benefits of using a GPS auto guidance system to aid them in getting the most out of their crops and farmland.
“Lots of our local farmers already have the technology used in Precision Farming, but they don’t know how to use it for its full potential,” said Jimmy Boyd, a Certified Precision Farming Specialist with Scott Equipment. “With the right training, and not a lot of money, you can really maximize your output on even the smaller ‘weekend warrior’ farms.”
The convention is free and open to the public and all equipment users are encouraged to attend. Door prizes, including a 45 qt Yeti cooler, will be given away throughout the day.
